Tasks and responsibilities include:

- meat production assistance
- packing, labelling and dispatching products
- hygiene and cleaning
- Managing product storage to ensure wastage is minimised and recorded
- Cleaning and maintaining your workspace, tools and equipment in compliance with food safety and hygiene policy and standards
- Complying with all food hygiene and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements (you'll receive training)
- Following and upholding company policies and procedures in relation to Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) and Food Safety to ensure a safe environment for customers, staff and contractors.

**About You...**

You must be prepared to work with and around meat in a manufacturing / production environment. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and cool environment where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of food professionals including chefs, cooks and butchers.

You must also be able to demonstrate high level of physical fitness and stamina which will enable you to stand for long periods and perform manual handling, bending and lifting/moving of items from 16-55kg in line with Australian Work safe standards.

Previous experience in a food production facility is desired but not essential.
