Team and Role Overview:
As the Manager, Debit & Credit Product Management, you will join our Product & Innovation team. You will be responsible for driving the performance of Mastercard's debit and credit portfolios, encompassing strategy setting, analysis and reporting, as well as product development and management.

As a key member of our Core Consumer and Commercial products team, you will lead the development and growth of Mastercard's debit and credit products, working closely with internal teams across Mastercard, issuing customers, merchants, strategic partners, and FinTech’s. Through your thought leadership, influencing skills, innovative approaches to product development, and strong analytical capabilities, you will build unique customer and consumer value propositions.

Role:

- Develop and execute product strategy by deepening your understanding of the segment through benchmarking, competitive analyses, research, and profitability analyses. Recommend best practices and generate business cases.
- Drive the execution of the strategy through structured product development methodologies and direct engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Delivery, Implementation, Loyalty, Legal, Marketing, Compliance, and other teams to deliver solutions and support go-to-market plans.
- Drive the go-to-market strategy for new products and features.
- Work with the Account and Sales teams to create compelling customer pitches and presentations.
- Leverage data and reporting to analyse and grow the product portfolio.
- Monitor competitive products and industry trends, adjusting the strategy and associated workstreams to ensure Mastercard's competitive edge.
- Support Account Managers with analytical insights and plans to reduce costs and enhance revenue at a product and issuer level.
- Cultivate strong relationships and cooperation with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve business targets.
- Support the management of existing partnerships and benefits throughout their lifecycle.

- Exposure to or experience in FinTech’s, particularly in the payment solutions space, is preferred but not essential.
- Strong analytical and product development skills, with a proven ability to deliver.
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and proficiency in relevant tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Eager to learn, develop, and contribute as part of a high-performance team.
- Strategic thinker with outstanding communication skills across all levels.
