Provide strategic business direction and alignment in order to influence SUBWAY franchise owners in maximising profitability of their portfolio and help to align store operating procedures to Subway's brand standards. To communicate the expected performance level of the locations and franchisees within their assigned area in relation to companies KPIs and metrics. Implement business growth by identifying potential operational opportunities for improvement and provide training to strengthen locations. Assist franchisees in ensuring they are in compliance with their requirements under the franchise agreement eg: Remodel status

**Essential Functions**:
**BUILDING SALES & PROFITS**: Impart operational knowledge, food safety guidance and education during restaurant visits: Consistently evaluate SUBWAY restaurants using the REV program and associated tools such as the REV portal. Work with franchisees to assist them in developing effective corrective action plans (CAPs) for improvement after REV visits have been completed, and follow up with franchisees through to completion and sign off. Document adherence to Company compliance standards, improvements made, areas of opportunity and direction on how to improve, if needed during coaching sessions. Evaluate how the restaurant is performing compared to SUBWAY policies and procedures, analyse sales and cost data and provide specific customized direction to improve in these areas. Review franchisees portfolio and have regularly scheduled business reviews to see growth potential and areas of opportunity. Educate and influence the franchisee to utilise local area marketing when appropriate, create training plans, systems in place for SOPs and provide guidance on monthly P&Ls. Work with franchise owners on creating and implementing local store marketing plans and tracking progress, analyze issues and opportunities for each restaurant and the franchisee's business as a whole.

**BUILDING STORES / REMODELS**: Assist Territory team with site reviews (if required) by conducting three day parts of customer intercepts for all reviews within assigned area where required. Provide direction and coaching to franchisees and staff with regard to New Store Openings & Transfer Training Hours. Help to determine the readiness of the location to open based on assessment of the operation, and assist with the opening of all new SUBWAY locations as outlined by the Company. Complete an opening Evaluation, opening photographs, and opening hours log and submit to SSA within the required timeframe. Provide/recommend new sites for relocations when applicable. Support franchisees in order to grow and become MUO’s as well as aid in the process of retirement from the brand. Assist with the remodel process through proactive discussions with franchisees and through the planning stages.

**SELF-DEVELOPMENT**: Applies designated training programs to develop new skills. Participates in all scheduled training classes, including on-line training as provided, be available to travel on an occasional basis to training sessions and meetings in Brisbane, field meetings, conventions, and staff meetings. Fully understand the purpose and benefits of new programs and decisions in order to effectively influence franchisees and obtain buy in.

**Skills and Abilities Required**:

- Ability to learn technology initiatives and cascade this knowledge to others
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to problem solve and business analysis skills
- High degree of detail orientation and ability to work within a team, hands on approach during in restaurant visits.
- Must also be able to work autonomously and be professional.
- Must be able to adapt to different situations and personalities, while maintaining a degree of personal integrity, utilising problem solving skills.
- Natural leader and high level self motivational skills

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Communication, Business Administration or Commerce or similar is preferred
5+yrs minimum restaurant QSR experience
