As our Payroll and Finance Specialist, you'll manage all things payroll while also handling financial accounting responsibilities to support our Finance team. If you have some experience in payroll and are eager to expand your knowledge in accounting, this role is perfect for you

**What you'll be doing**
- Managing the payroll processing for the company, ensuring accuracy for all payroll-related payments and employment data
- You'll be the go-to person to investigate and solve any timesheet discrepancies
- Responsible for all things accounts receivable related
- Help out with month-end processes and assist the team with monthly BAS and PAYG
- Assist with reporting across both payroll and general accounting
- A real chance to support the wider finance team, you’ll gain exposure to lots of different areas for finance

**Okay, let's talk about you**
- You'll have at least 2 years experience in a commercial finance team
- You've had in-depth exposure to payroll processing, ideally working with timesheets
- You know your way around Excel
- you know your v-lookup from your pivot table
- You know how to build relationships with different types of stakeholders
- You're comfortable working with ERP and payroll systems (we use Business Central, Employment Hero/ Keypay and Deputy)
- Ideally you'll have had exposure to working with a modern award/s (Vehicle Award would be a plus)
- You'll have an accounting undergraduate degree & studying or looking to start a CPA or CA

This is an onsite position with some flexibility to work 2 days from home per week
