About Us

ISD are responsible for providing infrastructure-related services to Queensland schools, early childhood services and corporate clients. The department's asset base currently consists of more than 1,200 schools, over 32,000 classrooms, and more than 170 early childhood services delivered on department-owned land.

About the Role

We have varying Manager opportunities in the following teams:
Portfolio Delivery

Manage a team who bring proven expertise in managing prefabricated (modular) building projects, from factory fabrication through to onsite assembly and completion, ensuring seamless coordination between controlled production environments and site operations.

Priority Programs Delivery

Liaise heavily with regional operations teams and oversee and monitor programs which currently includes Go for Gold Round 2, Playgrounds and Tuckshops Upgrade Program, School Upgrade Fund Round 2 and School Subsidy Scheme.

Special Programs Delivery

Oversee a range of non-growth-related initiatives across the State. The team is currently managing projects under the School Halls, Special School Renewal, Administration Growth, Flood Resilience, and Youth Engagement programs.

Special Schools Delivery

Over the coming years, it is anticipated that six new special schools/campuses will be delivered in Southeast Queensland. The Manager will positively engage with project stakeholders to support the successful, on time and on budget delivery of each of the proposed new special schools.
