**Job Title: Infrastructure Lead (Wintel, VMware, Citrix, Azure and Office365)**
**Location: Brisbane, Australia**
**Employment type: Permanent/ Fixed Term Contract**

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide hands on L3 support for Wintel, VMware, Citrix, Azure and Office365 core technologies.
- Effectively lead the ICT Infrastructure team based at onsite and offshore model.
- Lead and inspire a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure infrastructure solutions in a growing superannuation organisation.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to conduct audits, implement security policies, and address any identified vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to team members, managing 3rd-level service desk issue resolution by discovering, analyzing, and addressing issues quickly - schedule, assign, and/or escalate issues/queries as appropriate.
- Undertake enhancement and remediation activities across the network and gateway systems.
- Monitor, support, and enhance the network and systems. This includes Data Centre technologies, SSL Gateways, Load Balancers, Microsoft 365, Azure, and MDM.
- Manage and monitor infrastructure system upgrades, installations, integrations, customizations, configurations, and testing new systems and hardware, and help resolve configuration conflicts and errors.
- Provide mentoring and assistance to other team members in BAU and Projects.
- Actively assess/contribute to the continuous improvement of work, standards, processes, and methodologies.
- Be an active member in the change process and contribute to the peer review requirements of the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
- Create and maintain current documentation for all undocumented IT systems or work practices and provide these as training material to the greater IT team.
**Skills required**:
- Relevant industry qualifications (VCP, MCSE, Citrix Certified are highly desirable).
- Knowledge or experience with cloud and hybrid cloud solutions desirable.
- A collaborative approach to developing solutions with other technology teams and business users.

**Additional requirements**:
- Degree in Information Technology Business related discipline or equivalent experience in similar employment.
- Strong ability to effectively deal with demanding clients and complex support requirements to deliver effective resolutions and client outcomes.
- Strong ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a high performing team environment dealing with a broad range of BAU issues and request.
- Previous experience with Infrastructure continuous improvement of service delivery processes.
- Previous experience working within a large business transforming the environment.
- Experience with Project Management for Business-as-usual programs of operational improvements.
- Senior-level support experience across standard ICT architecture.
- A proactive attitude, ability to troubleshoot and solve problems and use initiative to make decisions, plan, and carry out tasks without direct supervision.
- Ability to work together and participate effectively as a contributing member of a team of leaders.
- Displays a high level of business acumen by demonstrating the ability to break complex technical concepts down to their alignment with business objectives.
- Driving P1’s, Major incident and flexible to work when required by the business.
