Lab/Field Technicians wanted for Northern Asphalt Company

Due to expansion in the Gepps Cross team, our client is looking for two technicians, one working predominately in the field, and one predominately in the lab

**Your new role**
As a technician, you’ll be testing asphalt either out on site, or in the lab. You’ll be responsible for quality assurance in line with NATA requirements, and communicating results to production teams. Some previous lab experience is a must, but our client is very happy to train further - you’ll be put through a cert IV traineeship in Laboratory Skills. When you’re on site, you’ll also be the face of the business, so you’ll be personable and have the gift of the gab. This is a physical job, so having a base-line fitness is a must. While you’ll often work with others, you’ll need to be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- White Card
- Minimum 1 year relevant construction materials testing is required
- Approved signatory for Asphalt NATA accreditation will be highly regarded
- Mechanical or engineering aptitude
- Great attitude and ability to fit into any team
- Desire to learn new skills
- Available for days, nights and Saturdays in a balanced roster to cater to holidays and family/social requirements
