Pace have exclusively partnered with a highly reputable FMCG organisation who are a market leader in their sector, and are currently on the look-out for a Junior Demand Planner to join their team located on the fringe of Melbourne's CBD. If you are a Merchandise Planner or an Inventory Analyst looking to take your next career step, this role could be a great opportunity for you. Your responsibilities will include the following tasks:
- Prepare and update weekly forecast data
- Review historical sales and stock trends to reconcile variances and improve forward forecast accuracy
- Manage and maintain stock dynamically to cover promotional and seasonal events
- Determine order quantities and flow schedule requirements
- Review and manage weekly replenishment to the local vendors
- Maintain store minimums and maximums for each SKU
- Proactively communicate sales forecasts & order requirements with the vendors
- Liaison between supplier and stakeholders
**_About You_**
- Desirable 2+ years’ experience in similar role or as a Merchandise Planning, allocation, Inventory Analysis
- Retail and wholesale industry experience advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Previous experience with SAP desirable
