**JUNIOR PLANNER**:
**INTRODUCTION**:
We are currently seeking a commercially astute Junior Planner to join the Product team to assist in planning processes, purchase orders, stock allocations, and supporting the Equine Category. In this role you will be mentored alongside the Senior Merchandise Planners and have opportunity to grow and develop within the wider group of Propel brands.

The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a commercially astute **Junior Planner** to join the Product team to assist in planning processes, purchase orders, stock allocations, and supporting the Equine Category. In this role you will be mentored alongside the Senior Merchandise Planners and have opportunity to grow and develop within the wider group of Propel brands.

Key Responsibilities:
The key objectives of the **Junior Planner** is to;
- Provide merchandise and financial planning services to the business through the management of Inventory, of finished goods from purchasing through to product exit
- Gross profit, through the management of promotional and temporary markdowns, and COGS recommendations
- In-season and post-season analysis of merchandise sell through
population and maintenance of the Merchandise Planning tools

About You:

- Relevant Merchandise Planning Experience whether that be as a Junior or full Planner (but OTB management experience is essential) or qualification in Merchandise Management (Fashion), Business, or any related area of qualification.
- Proven experience in a support role across categories with some exposure to season planning, budget and category management
- Strong financial acumen with an overall ability to support and implement the business strategy focusing on sales targets
- A proven track record of inventory management improvements
- AP21 or similar retail solutions software experience
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Proven experience in creation and maintenance of purchasing policies
- Excellent MS Office, Excel skills
