Located just 15 kilometres north-west of the centre of Melbourne, Hume City Council is one Australia's fastest growing and most culturally-diverse communities. Reporting to the Manager People and Culture, the Coordinator Talent Acquisition will bring a fresh approach to Council's talent management to ensure it is delivered to the highest standard. Working with a passionate team and engaging with other business lines, you will be the go-to team member when it comes to best practice attraction, recruitment and engagement techniques. You will support the rest of the P&C team with the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development and retention. A customer centric, outcomes-orientated mindset is required whilst ensuring that Council’s governance and decision-making are compliant and within legislative frameworks and the EBA.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced talent management professional with exposure to the full employee lifecycle. You will be responsive and innovative, with the capacity to drive positive organisational improvements. You will have significant expertise in leading a diverse range of projects ensuring governance and integrity in the recruitment process. You are naturally collaborative and build strong relationships across the organisation.
