**The Location**
Just over a three hour drive from Melbourne the hospital is one of Australia’s largest regional centres. There are also regular flights to Melbourne or Sydney where you would be in less than 1 hour.

This vibrant regional city is located between Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. There are plenty of things to see and do with beautiful parklands hugging the riverbanks that provide a picturesque setting for family picnics, swimming, canoeing and cycling. There are a wealth of high quality educational institutions including child care places, pre-schools, primary schools, secondary schools, two universities and two TAFEs. The city offers fantastic housing options for families of all size with great shopping and many fine restaurants and golfing to partake in. With an airport based in the city, you will have easy and quick access to daily flights to any of the nation's capital cities.

**The Hospital**
One of the largest regional hospitals in Australia. The Health Service supports an outer catchment population of 250,000 and has over 1,700 staff meeting the needs of the diverse regional community.

**The Role**
The hospital are looking for an Emergency Medicine Specialist. Only 1 in 7 on call. The ED has 20 treatment areas including 4 consulting rooms, a plaster room, an eye room, 12 general cubicles and 2 resuscitation beds. It is also the regional Trauma Centre.

**The Requirements**
You must have a minimum of 12 months recent emergency medicine experience ideally in Australia although ED experience from NZ, UK, Ireland and Canada will also be considered or
- IMG with 10+ years experience via STTP
