**Position**
Our client in Victoria is seeking a
**Staff Specialist Emergency Physician** for a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team. Excellent remuneration in excess of $400k dependent on level. Excellent remuneration + additional incentive allowances. The location offers a Mediterranean climate and a relaxed lifestyle with excellent facilities. An opportunity exists also for those interested in becoming a Director of Emergency Medicine Training (DEMT).

The Emergency Department receives 34,000+ presentations per year with a mix of approximately 80% adult and 20% paediatric. The facility offers an 18 bed department, an 8 bed short stay unit and is the main regional trauma centre. Also acts as a referral centre to metropolitan hospitals as required.

**Hospital**
This is a 165 bed Tertiary Teaching Hospital that provides a range of Acute Services including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Dialysis, Mental Health (Inpatient and community services) and a range of Ambulatory Services.

The Hospital is affiliated with Universities for the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate Medical, Nursing and Allied Health education. Affiliations also exist for clinical placement and training.

**The Requirements**
You must have a minimum of 12 months recent emergency medicine experience ideally in Australia although ED experience from NZ, UK, Ireland and Canada will also be considered or
