**Overview**:
Self-motivated and dedicated Salad Bar Operator. This role involves a combination of front and back of house responsibilities, including food preparation, cleaning, serving customers, making salads, restocking, and ordering.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Front of House**:

- Greet and serve customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Prepare and assemble salads according to customer preferences and Salad Days standards.
- Provide information about menu items and answer customer inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
- Restock salad bar and other front of house supplies as needed.
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.

**Back of House**:

- Prepare ingredients for salads, including washing, chopping, and storing vegetables and other components plus storing them properly to maintain freshness.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Cook proteins such as chicken, salmon, lamb, and falafel, ensuring they are prepared to perfection and comply with health and safety standards.
- Make dressings and sauces from scratch, following restaurant recipes and ensuring consistency.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and prep areas.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sanitising surfaces, washing dishes, and taking out trash.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Hospitality experience preferred but not required.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.91 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
