**Your role**
- Do you have a strong eye for detail and are incredibly organised? Do you have a client service orientation and high risk awareness?
- We’re looking for such an individual to join our team of Client Onboarding Specialist to:
- advise on KYC vetting and regulatory requirements and handhold the client through the onboarding and account opening process
- understand how risk factors impact client risk rating
- handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance to UBS firm policy
- identify areas for improvement, share knowledge and conduct quality meetings with internal teams and stakeholders
- contribute to continuous improvement of processes and services
- have experience of writing and implementing comprehensive procedures
- understand the impact of technology and how it can aid in improving process efficiency
**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Onboarding team in Sydney. We maintain relationships with key stakeholders globally. We ensure that all internal and external client queries relating to the Onboarding process are acknowledged and responded to in a timely and appropriate manner. As a Client Onboarding specialist, you’ll play an important role in the Client Lifecycle Management function.*#LI-TC1
**Your expertise**
- Your expertise:
- You may already have experience in a KYC role (ideally in banking) or you maybe a recent graduate who is looking to build a career in Investment Banking Operations having gained some initial industry experience.
- proven experience in client service within a financial services environment
- strong attention to detail and strong analytical capability
- a self-starter who is able to multi-task and perform under pressure
- collaborator with a can-do attitude, able to quickly adapt within a changing environment
- Strong Excel skills including V-Lookups
- familiarity with ANZ regulatory landscape will be an advantage but not essential
