Bestbar Reinforcements has a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineering Technician at their business based in Victoria.

This is a permanent, full time position.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**

To qualify for this position, you will have:

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience within the similar industry.
- Exposure and understanding of manufacturing environments.
- Extensive knowledge of assembling, instaling, and repairing new and modified electrical assemblies, components and motor control systems.
- Experience in undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices.
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant.
- Proficiency in electrical design and diagnostic testing software.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Great organisational and time management skills.
- Work collaboratively within the team as well as autonomously.

Remuneration/Salary$85,000-$95,000 per annum.

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
