**About the Role**

This is a **full-time, Monday to Friday position** based at our **Truganina, VIC** manufacturing plant.

Reporting to the **Maintenance Manager** and supported by the **Maintenance Supervisor** and the wider **Maintenance Team**, this hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising injection moulding machinery, tooling, and associated systems.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our preform and cap manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position also contributes to continuous improvement, reliability, and plant uptime initiatives across the site.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on injection moulding machines, tooling, and robotics.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimise downtime.
- Conduct tooling and mould changes, cleaning, and setup adjustments to meet production requirements.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to maintain product consistency, cycle times, and dimensional accuracy.
- Support commissioning and validation of new machines or tooling.
- Record all work orders, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage in the CMMS.
- Participate in continuous improvement and reliability projects to enhance equipment performance and plant uptime.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, HACCP, GMP, and environmental standards.
- Support the training and development of apprentices and operators in safe machine operation.

**About You**

You're a proactive maintenance professional with a strong technical background and a passion for reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and work effectively as part of a close-knit team.

**To be successful in this role, you'll have**:

- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Trade qualification.
- Experience in injection moulding or high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability across hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of PLC systems and control circuits (fault identification).
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.
- Forklift licence and/or High-Risk Work Licence (desirable).
- Additional training, such as Confined Space, Working at Heights, and Lockout/Tagout (desirable).
