**The division and the team**
The Third Party Banking team is the custodian of the Adelaide Bank brand and white-label mortgage propositions for the Bank. This now also includes the support function and transition piece of the new Bendigo Bank Broker proposition, as it begins to roll out across the channels. With over 70% of customers choosing to go through a broker for their lending needs, there is no surprise TPB is delivering around a third of the Bank’s revenue. The team are integral to the success of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.
If you like being where the action is, you’ll enjoy being part of the ‘engine room’ for Third Party Banking, providing partner and broker support across our multiple channels while implementing strategies and creating efficiencies that support the business operationally.
**The role**
Whilst the team responsibilities are both varied and broad, you will predominantly focus on processing our daily broker accreditations and maintenance requests, liaising with aggregators, and supporting our BDMs with administrative tasks. Drafting and distributing formal communications to both internal and external stakeholders is another critical component of the role. Communications differ considerably, from general business updates, rates and product movements, credit policy changes, to building direct-to-broker marketing EDMs. When we’re not onboarding new partners, we are responsible for maintaining them and ensuring their branding and collateral, including customer forms and letters, bank cards and online banking platforms are current. With so much on the go at all times, there’s no room for passengers on the bus
**The person**
The role requires lots of focus, a high level of attention to detail, and an ability to ‘go with the flow’ when priorities shift - you’ll need to be flexible. Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications skills are required, and good time management skills are also non-negotiable. It also goes without saying that strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills are necessary to be successful in this role.
It’s a role for individuals who can jump in and give it a go, pick up new processes and concepts quickly and can be flexible with changing demands within a short period of time.
While exposure to TPB is a bonus it is not essential to be successful. If you’re driven, diligent and thrive in a busy but supportive environment, then you’ll do just fine
