**About the role**

This is an opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive team orientated environment, with a commitment to ongoing training and development.
- Providing personal care and support to participants accessing services operated by YLDP
- Supporting individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of care provided
- Supporting participants to be at the centre of their decision making and enable them to achieve the desired outcomes of their plans, goals and aspirations in partnership with their families, carers and therapy team.
- Ensure that support is provided in accordance with the National Disability Services Standards and other relevant legislation
- Support workers will encourage community involvement and focus on individual goals.
- Support workers will provide all types of disability support work which includes but is not limited to; in home care, personal care, community access, domestic tasks, households tasks, group work, overnight support and transport.

**To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes**:

- Current NDIS Worker Check
- Current and valid National Police clearance
- Minimum Certificate III in Individualised Support, Disability, Community Services (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid Certificate/Medication training (desirable)
- Flexibility and availability with working hours
- Happy to travel to and from clients
- NDIS worker induction and orientation modules
- Previous experience working in the disability support sector is highly desirable

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Adelaide, SA (required)

Work Location: In person
