**The Role**: As the P&C Manager, you will hold a central position in delivering crucial operational support and service to designated client groups across the organisation. Your scope of influence will encompass diverse dimensions of people management, including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, policy implementation, conflict resolution, and separation processes.
Working in close collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager, you will also actively engage in addressing workplace risks, safety concerns, and facilitating seamless return-to-work transitions.
Ideal for an experienced HR Advisor poised to take the next step in their career journey. If you possess a robust background in HR advisory functions and are now eager to embrace the broader responsibilities and strategic impact associated with a Business Partner role, we encourage you to seize this opportunity.
You will sit among a broader P&C team and be supported by your colleagues, as well as having complete ownership of the role. Reporting into the Director of P&C, some of your key responsibilities will include;
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and staff to provide guidance on people-related matters.
- Implement people and culture strategies, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Lead recruitment efforts and workforce planning initiatives.
- Drive change management processes across the organisation.
- Manage conflict resolution and separation processes.
- Provide mentorship to the P&C Coordinator and manage escalations.
- Manage onboarding and compliance for casual staff.
- Interpret awards and ensure appropriate pay grades.
**To be successful for this role, you will bring**:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or relevant discipline.
- Strong HR generalist background with experience across the lifecycle.
- Prior experience within education or professional services would be beneficial but not required.
