Australian-owned company looking for a Business Technology Manager.

**Your new company**
Our client is an accomplished airport operator that owns and operates across all of Queensland. They are an Australian-owned company with a vision to engage customers, connect communities and deliver exceptional experiences. They are looking for a Business Technology Manager to join their team, during an exciting time of growth.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the General Manager Technology, the Business Technology Manager provides vertical coverage and is accountable for the entire life cycle of Technology - the Plan/Build/Run for their assigned business area. They manage demand, lead strategy and roadmap, lead enterprise architecture, are the escalation point, accountable for the TCO of their portfolio, deliver cost targets, accountable for projects, drive optimisation/efficiencies, own the relationship with stakeholders and provide support and insight to the business strategies, work seamlessly with Technology SME functions and provide business insights back into the organisation. Responsibilities:

- The development and management of strategies to align technology plans with business objectives
- Regular and valued conversations with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with all technology partners
- Manage supplier engagements to ensure fit for purpose\
- People Management: determination of capabilities, integration into teams, allocation of tasks, direction, support, guidance, motivation and management of performance
- Accountable for the cost and revenue outcomes of their portfolio
- Establishes policy and standards for compliance with relevant legislation and governance requirements
- Accountable for project delivery outcomes

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed as the Business Technology Manager, you will have the following skill set:

- Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT Teams, with focus in business engagement, project management disciplines
- Minimum 5 years team management experience
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts
- Ability to lead requirements elicitation workshops
- Ability to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation
