Manage multiple teams across Technology and AV for this well-known multi-function venue.

**Your new company**
Hays have partnered with a well-known multi-function venue boasting multiple exhibition halls, an arena and meetings rooms that cater from 10 to 6,000 people. It is to go-to destination for trade shows, events, exhibitions and concerts. They are looking for a Head of Technology to take ownership and lead their Technology team, taking responsibility for all things IT and Audio Visual at the venue.

**Your new role**
As the Head of Technology, managing 6 direct reports with a wider team of 12, you will be in a strategic leadership role that reports directly into the General Manager.

Your responsibilities include:

- Providing direction and technical expertise in design, development and systems integration.
- Participating in sales calls and project management
- Developing and maintaining operational budgets, achieving revenue and sales growth
- Leading and inspiring the IT teams, as well as Technical AV Sales Team, Production Managers, AV Operations Manager and Technical AV Managers.
- Ability to make quick decisions and solve technical problems in ICT and AV.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to determine their needs.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in the role of Head of Technology, you will have the following skill set and expertise:

- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- 8 + years of professional industry experience
- Understanding of IT service requirements in either a corporate or service delivery environment
- Understanding and ability to design audio visual, lighting, staging and rigging systems
- Risk-management and solutions-focussed
- Previous experience as an IT Manager, Project Manager, or AV Manager is highly regarded
