**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Receptionist / Office Manager to join the team. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Surry Hills office.
In this newly created role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of reception and the broader office, in addition to administration support for the team.
Some key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Welcome and assist visitors and new employees to the office, providing excellent customer service.
- Attend to issues raised by employees regarding office facilities and supplies, liaising with external providers as required.
- Manage office expenditure, budgets, and relevant invoices.
- Support the running of meetings, such as setting up and restocking meeting rooms.
- Order and organise stationary, employee uniforms, and other office supplies.
- Administration support such as filing, mail distribution, and data entry.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of events.
**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE**:
Ideally we are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and easily with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks at any given time.
- Sound computer literacy skills, including intermediate-advanced usage of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience coordinating events or functions would be advantageous.
