**_Permanent Part Time position available for a Children, Youth and Families Team Leader to join Southern Cross Support Services (SCSS), based in Toowoomba._**

Our Team Leaders are responsible for the coordination of the Residential Care Workers providing service to our clients. As a Team Leader, you will ensure the smooth running of the young person's home.

The role is to lead a small core team to work alongside a Children, Youth and Families client living in a residential placement. The applicant must be someone experienced, committed to success and focused on achieving individual goals. This role will be working mainly Monday to Friday during core business hours, however as part of the requirement of taking on a permanent role with SCSS you will need to have full availability.

Your main focus and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) three areas:

- **Ensuring smooth operations of the house** - presentation, cleaning, damage, medication management, house folder updates, transporting and supporting at school, managing client appointments, safety checks, car checks, activity and menu plans, shopping.
- **Build and Uphold a positive team culture and enthusiasm** - have a can do attitude, think outside the box, stay client focused and positively engaged in their home, communication, lead team meetings, support, mentor and guide your team, induct new members using SCSS check list.
- **Stakeholder involvement and Client Management** - open, professional and positive communication, attendance in meetings off site with Case Manager, feedback and suggestions, close monitoring of behaviours, safety plan and updating client file details in CTARS ensuring audit compliance.
- Must have completed or be enrolled to commence a minimum Certificate 4 Qualification in a relevant area (Child, Youth and Family Intervention/Disability/Mental Health/Community Services)
- Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People
- Positive Notice Criminal History Check - Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Child Safety and Criminal History Screening - LCS2
- First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Driver’s Licence
