Operational Excellence Coordinator - Pet Wellness

Since our clients founding in 2018, they have built a great brand serving pets across Australia on a subscription bases. Due to expansion they looking for an exceptional Operational Excellence Coordinator to join our team as we enter their Victoria scale-up phase.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational excellence projects and initiatives, working collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure projects are rolled out meeting milestone, budget and scope criteria
- Employ Six Sigma and LEAN methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives eg 5S, Root Cause Analysis, OEE, DMAIC, SMED, VSM
- Act as ‘lean ambassadors’ for cultural activities, role modelling Values and Guiding Principles
- Support the development of the appropriate capabilities to ensure anchoring the Operational Excellence mindset and capacity across the network
- Continuously measure and monitor processes, risks and controls by conducting post-implementation reviews and project follow-up

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years experience in a lean manufacturing organisation, with food manufacturing preferred
- Degree Qualified in Manufacturing, Engineering/Science, Business or allied areas
- Minimum Green Belt in Six Sigma is preferred
- Self-motivated individual who has demonstrated experience in following the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle in having an integral role in identifying and then embedding a lean manufacturing strategy
- Hands on experience in engaging cross functional team and embedding lean manufacturing methodologies is a must
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration across multiple teams & stakeholders
- Ability to regularly travel across Australia to visit sites implement programs
