**Your new company**
Our client collaborates with the defence sector to offer customised propulsion and power generation solutions as well as providing full scaled logistics transport.
This company understands the complexities of the defence acquisition and logistic support methodology and has a proven track record of providing highly specialised and customised solutions that meet the demands of defence operations.

**Your new role**
As the Project & planning Officer you will Provide project/maintenance scheduling and planning support to PAU Operation teams as well as liaising with Principle Contractors maintenance Schedulers and planners to ensure PAU deliverables are maintained and deliver outstanding service levels to customers.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

- Co-ordinate maintenance activities for Defence maritime platforms to integrate with CoA master maintenance schedules.
- Provide an on-site point of contact for Defence maintenance planning activities and the delivery of Services.
- Provide planning central point of contact within the Defence planning group.
- Support Platform Operations Manager with planning, documentation and communications as required.
- Assist teams with Other Quality Evidence (OQE) and documentation submission to the Commonwealth & Prime Contractor.
- Manage Branch and Defence assets for the delivery of maintenance and support services.
- Provide work flow forecasts and ensure that the reporting schedules are maintained within the Project planning group.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Must have previous experience within similar role
- Project Officer looking for their next career step
- Computer proficiency
- Exposure to Microsoft Projects, Primavera or other project Management tool highly regarded
- Experience in Diesel engine industry or other mechanical industry is desirable
- Commitment to working alongside the Australian Defence force.
- Prior experience working in the Commonwealth planning system advantageous
- Able to obtain Defence Security clearance
- MUST be Australian Citizen
