**We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and **motivated** Logistics team member for our Warehouse in Narangba**

Work Type: Permanent Full Time
Location: Narangba
Pay Point: Grade 6, $89,894 + 12.75% Super + Allowances

**About the role**:
As a Logistics Team Member, you’ll provide safe, high quality, cost effective logístical services from suppliers into warehousing operations, through to point of consumption. You’ll co-ordinate the safe, efficient and reliable transport of over-dimensional, over-mass materials/assets, support with logístical projects at our substation and laydown sites, oversee logistics contractors at our sites, and co-ordinate maintenance activities of inventory including inspecting stock for defects and damage.

You will support logístical projects at Powerlink substation and laydown sites including contractor engagement, delivery of site materials, site set-ups, waste management and disposal and return of critical network spares. Through this role, you will organise and improve our logistics systems, supporting to increase our supply chains capacity, safety and efficiency. You’ll support a 24 hour network emergency response service roster, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of materials and equipment during emergency events.

**About you**:

You will have previous experience in a heavy industry, utilities or asset based warehousing environment including dogging/rigging activities or work with bridge cranes and with arranging over-sized transport activities. You will have strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), load restraints and freight co-ordination. Skilled with contractor management on remote operational sites you are able to lead Logistical Contractors including procurement activities, pre-qualifications, inductions, and safety management checks of works.
