**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated Strategic Asset Manager to join our team on a fixed term contract, reporting to the National Optimisation Manager and indirectly to the General Manager - Asset Management. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing life cycle plans, asset standards, and processes to ensure efficient asset management across our organization.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development and documentation of life cycle plans and asset standards.
- Conduct life cycle cost analysis and modelling using operational performance and maintenance data.
- Research and synthesize information to form actionable recommendations for life cycle planning.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 55000 governance documents.
- Maintain an accurate registry of all Asset Management documentation.
- Update and refine the Asset Management system to meet legislation and best practices.
- Analyze full life cycle financials of assets from acquisition to disposal.
- Provide insights through trend analysis and assess asset costs versus maintenance costs.

**To be considered you will have**:

- Degree in Business/Finance or Engineering (essential).
- Proven knowledge and implementation of ISO 55000.
- Previous experience in asset management and facilities management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and Power BI.
- Full Australian working rights
