**The Opportunity**

A chance to work with a purpose-built challenger bank built on traditional principles such as integrity, trusted relationships, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Established from a desire to redefine relationship banking for the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) market and to challenge the market driven by the 4 major banks.

Our client is searching for an outcome-driven Senior Product Owner to manage the development of their Product Ownership capacity and play a key role in the building of our customer and employee experiences.

**About the role**:

- Drive the product design and direction by providing an actionable product roadmap, based on business and customer value.
- Collaborate with customer integration teams, and directly with prospective customers and members, to gain insights to shape the roadmap and feature prioritisation.
- Identify opportunities and provide insights around market and customer needs across user segments.
- Take ownership of the product backlog by creating user stories and features with business value identified on each item.
- Keep key stakeholders apprised of the product roadmap and the progress of the project deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure training, communications and technical requirements are in place to support product go to market.

**About you**:

- You will have 5+ years of industry experience including deep product ownership or product management expertise, preferably in a regulated industry like financial or professional services.
- 2+ years' experience working with new products or taking existing products into new markets or sectors such as banks.
- You've been accountable for the delivery of major outcomes or initiatives
- Ability to translate project objectives into a product roadmap, prioritise and sequence according to technical dependencies and constraints.
- Extensive experience working in agile environments with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge on Open Banking Data is highly desirable
