Exact Contracting is looking for an experienced leader in maintenance and asset management to join our team as a **Plant Asset Manager.**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Plant Asset Manager is responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of maintenance activities and operations, and our fleet of 1000+ pieces of plant and equipment.

This role will require regular travel to remote sites to support projects with ensuring compliance with maintenance practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and ensure compliance of maintenance and asset management strategies for mobile plant;
- Long term planning of asset utilisation and optimisation of asset availability, performance, output and costs;
- Identify value adding cost saving and optimisation opportunities;
- GET and undercarriage usage forecasting and management;
- Tyre Management including; product performance analysis, implementing initiatives to achieve optimal return on tyre investment, managing and forecasting tyre and rim stock levels;
- Asset Management Performance Reporting;
- Partner with the relevant Area Managers in executing new project mobilisation, start up, operations and demobilisation; and
- Provide support to maintenance teams across national projects.

**Requirements**:

- Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade qualification (_preferable);_
- Demonstrated experience in similar role, Civil or Mining based maintenance management position;
- Demonstrated experience with CATERPILLAR, KENWORTH and METSO equipment;
- Comprehensive understanding of mobile plant, crushing and road transport operations and maintenance;
- Proven people management skills and effective support to site-based management teams;
- Proven commitment to and compliance with site safety standards;
