Exact Contracting are looking for an experienced leader in heavy mobile plant and road transport maintenance to join our team at our Burton Plant Department as a
**Maintenance Manager**.

Reporting to the Plant Asset Manager, you will be responsible for leading safe and cost-effective maintenance activities and operations across a broad range of mobile plant and road transport trucks & trailers.

This role is locally based in Burton on a 5 & 2 roster but may require travel to remote sites to support projects on occasion.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Leading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;
- Effective planning and managing of resources to ensure the completion of maintenance schedules are on time and within budget;
- Driving operational efficiencies for all maintenance related activities;
- Overseeing the mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment for projects; and
- Providing effective leadership and supervision through ‘on the ground’ presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Current drivers’ licence;
- Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade qualification;
- Experience in a supervisory/management role;
- Demonstrated experience maintaining Caterpillar, Hitachi mobile equipment; Kenworth and Mack Trucks and a wide range of ancillary gear;
- Previous civil/mining industry experience;
- Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc.;
- Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;
- Confident communication with the ability to effectively liaise with other employees, suppliers and sub-contractors;
- Self-motivation with a positive attitude;
- Desire to work in remote locations; and
- A hands-on approach.
