A 6-month contract opportunity working within the state government space with likely opportunity to extend.
**Your new company**
This State Government Agency based in Western Sydney are in the early work stages on a crucial multi-million state government project focused on various forward planning housing developments.
**Your new role**
The Construction Planner will take a lead role in the assessment of local properties in the area and assure all development are compliant with relevant policies, legislation, and procedures. You will work to monitor and assess issues in new build and refurbishment programs. You must be able to manage the delivery of competing assessment project outcomes whilst managing the different and competing interests of various external agencies, stakeholder and community expectations.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You must have a strong understanding of design concepts and the planning space. You will be required to follow various statutory requirements and assure processes are followed in line with part 5 conditions. You will also work to complete required asset management plans as required and liaise with all points of contact from initial stages throughout the project to completion working closely alongside coordinators.
**What you'll get in return**
You will receive a highly competitive salary of $73 per hour + super dependant on experience as well as an initial 6-month contract. (likely to extend)
