**About the Role**

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Casual Guest Services Host at SEA LIFE Melbourne, part of the Merlin Entertainments group.

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, you will be the first impression of the world-famous SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium. Providing world class customer service, you will be a friendly face in admissions, as well as being a knowledgeable guide at major touch points throughout the attraction. We are looking for positive, energetic team players who are calm under pressure and dedicated to providing the highest quality experience to all guests who walk through the door.

**Further responsibilities include**:

- Ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of all staff and guests is the number one priority
- Knowledge of all ticket and experience offerings
- Efficient Point of Sale operations and upselling techniques
- Engaging customer service as a guide across multiple areas of the aquarium
- Successful operation of our 4D cinema and Virtual Reality experiences
- Involvement in School Holiday campaigns, activations and costume character Meet and Greets

Please note that this role requires weekend and school holiday availability.

**About You**

To shine in this role, you will have a passion for guest experience, with a focus on fun. You will display impeccable customer service skills and a positive attitude towards interaction with our guests and upselling techniques. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but a desire to work in the tourism/attraction industry is essential.
