Laboratory Assistant

Full time casual hours Monday to Friday
- Practical lab experience preferred
- Weekly rotating day shift, night shift and afternoon is considered essential.

Responsible for the accurate and efficient weighing and analysis of mining samples.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform the preparation assay or analysis of samples in a timely manner
- Ensure all samples meet strict Quality, Health and Safety standards
- Maintain numerical system of order
- Adhere to all documented and verbal safety instructions
- Undertaking of all documented laboratory methods for which you have been trained
- Assist in clean up of glassware
- Assist in NATA recording
- Using pipettes and other laboratory measuring devices

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Current drivers licence
- The ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Practical experience in a Laboratory highly regarded
- Must be willing to do weekly rotating shifts, day and afternoon

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
