
Depot Support Officer

We are looking for a reliable Depot Support Officer with great communication skills to join our team. This role involves providing administrative support, managing stock, assisting with purchasing and contributing to the smooth operations of our fantastic outdoor workforce.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide general administrative support and ensure daily operations at the Depot.
- Assist with job sheet and timesheet reconciliation, data entry, and maintaining the council’s request system.
- Support the creation of Traffic Management Plans and manage work health & safety records.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure the Depot store and small plant store run efficiently.
- Assist with purchasing and financial tasks, including budget reporting and asset management.
**About you**:
- Strong understanding of office procedures, finance, and purchasing.
- Proficient in MS Office and Asset Management software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
**Desirable**:
- Forklift high-risk work licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with Technology One / One Council asset management software.
**What we offer you**:
- Part-time (68 hours per fortnight)
- Ongoing
- Week 1 of fortnight: 3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
- Week 2 of fortnight: 5 days (Monday to Friday)
