**How will I help?**
The Manager, Customer Proposition is responsible for working with the Exec Manager Customer Proposition to drive growth for the General Insurance Business by ensuring General Insurance propositions are promoted and communicated clearly across all customer collateral and marketing materials and are correctly represented in internal material.
The GI Business works with our external insurance partner/s to plan and deliver BAU and strategic initiatives critical to meeting the asset protection needs of our customers and the continued growth of the business.

**Your responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
- Work closely with Westpac and Partner marketing teams to enable and execute a customer-centric marketing and communications strategy.
- As Business SME, support and enable the delivery of all tactical marketing activity ensuring that planned activities within Marketing planned Distribution plans, are delivered on time/budget.
- Support the delivery of key project activities, to ensure that marketing initiatives are delivered on time/budget.
- Working with the Performance, Analytics and Insights team, use data and insights to identify customer cohorts and refine and develop customer propositions that articulate our General Insurance CVP.
- Contribute to a focus on target market development to ensure that customer cohorts are continuously refined in line with appropriate product offers.
- Support the delivery of strategic initiatives that will support the growth strategy across GI.
- Support the development, delivery and fulfilment of marketing campaigns and deliver relevant insights.
- Deliver any other related tasks as reasonably requested.
- Capture and manage marketing materials and sign-offs.
- Ensure marketing collateral and content is created with risk, compliance, privacy and legal obligations met throughout, supported by BCM and Compliance teams.
- Manage and maintain marketing governance and controls, including review and approval matrices for Marketing, Digital and Distribution material between internal stakeholders and external partner stakeholders
**What do I need?**
- Be a self-starter who can confidently multi-task with exceptional time management attention to detail
- Contribute to a risk focused culture where teams operate within our compliance obligations, and team members feel confident and pro-active to identify, understand, discuss, manage, and report potential risks to our business
- Ensure personal adherence to relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards, and the organization’s policies
- Contribute to the broader Strategic Alliances team to deliver higher levels of engagement, work performance and service delivery which exceeds business and customer expectations
- Demonstrate personal responsibility for commitments made - ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered without follow up or direction
- High level of maturity, professionalism and integrity
- Marketing communications and campaign background - with Financial Services experience highly regarded
- Ability to develop the highest level of written communications with strong proof-reading capability.
- The ability to understand and simplify complex issues and develop appropriate communications.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of risk obligations.
- Demonstrated campaign planning and delivery skills.
- High interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage performance independently.
