Job Description
We are seeking an Innovation and Propositions Manager for our Group Life and Retirement Marketing & Innovation team. This 12 month secondment opportunity leads proposition development from review to implementation for superannuation fund partners, covering areas like health, member engagement, employer, or retirement solutions, from pilots to first-to-market initiatives.

In This Role You Will

• Work with the Senior Manager, Innovation and Propositions to develop an innovation strategy for the Group channel that supports all aspects of TAL's growth and value-build objectives
• Conduct market scans and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder to monitor and analyse market developments to help manage the portfolio of propositions and pipeline of new opportunities
• Use innovation methodologies (e.g. Google Sprint, Human-Centered Design and LEAN) and your own strategic problem-solving skills, to develop new to market innovations, member propositions and service enhancements
• Work closely with the Group Partnerships team, Digital Propositions team and Technology teams to engage partners to scale innovations, member propositions and service enhancements
• Develop business cases and propositions to present to senior stakeholders at TAL and fund partners for endorsement and prioritisation
• Plan and conduct innovation services such as workshop facilitation, member research and interviews, supporting Hackathons to support internal teams and our funds partners deliver on collective objectives
• Develop project plans with clear objectives and embed evaluation and reporting processes to monitor proposition effectiveness against objectives

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Innovation, Partnerships, Project Management, Product Owner or Marketing role
• Demonstrated experience in proposition strategy, design, development and execution
• Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, design (or relevant field)
• Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and project management capability
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong and demonstrated ability of innovation skillsets such as design-thinking methodology, qualitative and quantitative research, user journey mapping, workshop facilitation
