**About the Role**:
As the **Accounts Officer **reporting to our Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for recording high quality financial data in an accurate and timely manner. You will be working across various accounts and finance functions within a dynamic, project-based engineering environment. You will also participate in Nova’s finance and ERP implementations.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity however; we will consider a part-time arrangement for the right person.

**What will you be involved in**:

- High volume processing of accounts payable, ensuring correct allocation, account coding and authorisation in keeping with payment dates
- Bank reconciliations, cash management & customer receipting
- Vendor master creation and maintenance
- Monthly and annual closing procedures, including reconciliations and accruals process
- 3 way matching of accounts payable invoices and follow up of invoices on hold (procure-to-pay)
- Maintenance and reconciliation of corporate credit cards and employee reimbursements
- Provide a high level of customer service, including responding to queries from employees, customers and suppliers

**What we expect from you**:

- Experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation
- Experience with high volume accounts processing
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent data entry and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to gain a baseline security clearance
