The **Accounts Payable Officer **will play an integral part in the corporate finance team. Reporting to the **Accounts Payable Manager **and using a flexible and adaptable approach the responsibilities include:

- Process all supplier invoices for the BGIS division and ensure accurate payments are made according to payment terms
- Clear, concise, and timely dissemination of accounts payable policies and procedures
- Prompt and accurate processing of payment and cheque request
- Professional and helpful interactions with suppliers and employees on all accounts payable matters
- Full compliance and consistency with the contract, BGIS services business system and relevant legislation and accounting standards
- Providing support as required with finance and related matters and other ad hoc duties.

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in a property or corporate real estate environment or at a level in a similarly complex industry in an Accounts Payable role
- A high level of demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft suite of products including strong Excel capabilities to work with large volume data
- Experience in the use of an ERP
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable

**Desirable**
- Sound knowledge and experience with relevant legislation and policies standards and agreements
- Qualifications in business, accounting, or finance
