Utility company looking for a senior BA

An Iconic WA utilities organisation is seeking an experienced and passionate Business Analyst to join their organisation on an 8-month contract basis.

Your new role

This client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join their team and contribute to their PCI compliance project. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that plays a crucial role in achieving their compliance goals.

The focus of this role is to update existing documentation and introduce new processes and documents where applicable. There will be a strong focus on delivering high-quality documentation that meets the planned compliance standards and specification.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all documentation adheres to the planned compliance standards and specifications.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Connect cross-functional themes and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and compliance auditing methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather information and insights from relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to creating a constructive and inclusive culture by demonstrating positive values and behaviours.

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within a project team.
- Strong background in document and process writing.
- Knowledge of quality analysis principles and practices.
- Familiarity with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
- Understanding of compliance auditing methodologies and information management best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong relationship management and workshop facilitation abilities.
- Demonstrated values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive and inclusive culture.
