**Position Summary**:
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated undergraduate assistant in nursing with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The successful applicant(s) will be expected to be able to provide basic cares, ADLs and assessment of patients within an AIN scope of practice.. The casual pool is for relief of staff through out a variety of ursing departments with in the Hospital based on need.

The vacancy is open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens who hold a valid New Zealand passport, Australian permanent residents and those non-residents deemed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to be eligible to work in Australia only.

2. Immunisation history compliant with NSW Health Policy Directives
3. Successfully completed a minimum of 12 months of undergraduate Registered nursing degree at University
4. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work in a multidisciplinary health care team
5. Effective written and communication skills
6. Knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WH&S) and Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO)
7. Computer literate
