**About Us**:
At Ipswich West State School we provide a high quality education. Located close to the city centre of Ipswich, we are a school with a wonderful reputation with high standards for attendance, positive behaviour, literacy and conduct that are consistent, communicated, and addressed through support and intervention. We are a small school with a current enrolment of 217 students with several multi age classes and a supportive parent community. We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our team who will be flexible within this role to value add to the smooth management of the school which could include being officer in charge in the Principals absence.

**About the Role**:
Responsibilities within this role include, but are not limited to:

- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
