**Position Overview**:
The Cleaning Leading Hand is responsible for performing routine cleaning duties while leading and overseeing the cleaning team. This role acts as the first point of contact for the client regarding cleaning services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and addressing any concerns promptly. The Leading Hand also assists in quality control and ensures that the site meets agreed service standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cleaning Duties**:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing areas as required.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard in a timely manner.
- Handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials responsibly.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and support the cleaning team, ensuring they understand and adhere to company standards and policies.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new cleaning staff.
- Follow up with staff to ensure any issues identified during inspections are resolved.
- **Client Liaison**:

- Act as the first point of contact for the client regarding cleaning services.
- Engage in daily, in-person interactions with the Building Manager.
- Address minor client issues independently and escalate larger concerns when necessary.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct weekly inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
- Follow up on issues identified during inspections to ensure they are addressed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Manage cleaning supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Report any inventory shortages or equipment issues promptly.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, incidents, and client feedback.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the relevant personnel.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure that cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly.
- Report hazards or incidents immediately and participate in hazard management.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a cleaning role, with leadership experience preferred.
- Eye for detail and exceptional cleaning standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a small team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to resolve issues and address concerns in a professional manner.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as required.

- High standard of cleanliness and presentation maintained consistently.
- Positive feedback from clients and prompt resolution of concerns.
- Effective team supervision and follow-up on identified issues.

Pay: $50,980.00 per year
