**About the Assignment**

Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Assistant to join the Environmental project team in Perth, WA. The environmental assistant is responsible for providing support to the environment team lead to provide a range of support services to assist in the delivery of departmental targets and objectives.

**Tasks include**:

- Provide support to the environment team lead and the approvals and compliance team
- Understands team purpose and role accountabilities
- Upholds and ensures compliance with all company standards and processes.
- Consistent with Company’s environmental vision and policies and standards
- Assist with monthly HSE assurance and reporting
- Day to day dialogue with team members regarding env approvals and compliance matters.
- Support environmental advisers in coordination & preparation of regulatory inspections
- Compiling end of activity notification reporting for NOPSEMA (i.e., Reg 25s)
- Coordination of requests from regulators for updates on Environment Plan submissions
- Raising variations purchase orders and variations
- Editing environment plans and approvals documents before submission to the regulator
- Engages with the regulatory financial approvals (levies, compliance fees, financial assurance)
- Supporting in organizing Vendors, Contractors, and Consultants to provide Environmental services including raising service requisitions and variations for a variety of scopes, when required.
- Issue weekly reporting template for environment team to complete
- Develop and maintain report templates to be used by environmental team and update when required (i.e. environmental approvals request forms)
- Coordination of marine sightings reporting and coordination
- Liaising with internal cost controllers regarding invoicing and contracting codes
- Assist in booking rooms for workshops
- Assist with data entry with Landfolio database for environmental commitments
- Conduct other duties as directed by Environment Team Lead

**This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.**

**Location for this assignment is Perth, WA, working full-time office hours.**

**About You**
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment,
- Good data management skills and demonstrated computer software literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Previous experience working within SAP is preferred

Qualifications & Experience:

- Diploma in HSE and/or administrative qualification would be preferred but if experience has been gained in a similar role this would be sufficient.
