**About the role**

A key role reporting to the Lead - Regulatory Compliance is responsible for assisting in supplier due diligence, maintaining compliance records, preparing reports, and supporting both the Specialist and Lead to embed compliant procurement practices across the organisation.

The Analyst - Regulatory Compliance (Procurement) delivers timely, accurate and insightful analysis of procurement data to support regulatory compliance requirements, reporting and process assurance. The role will also contribute to the promotion and integration of regulatory procurement initiatives within Origin, to create a strong platform of engagement between internal business partners and our suppliers.

- Improve processes and develop comprehensive reporting for areas like modern slavery, sanctions, and First Nations procurement.
- Create and maintain a robust regulatory compliance procurement reporting suite, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. Modern Slavery Act, SOCI Act).
- Work cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements that enhance stakeholder experience and deliver strategic opportunities.
- Assess and model assurance exercises on related procurement policies to identify and action areas for improvement.
- Support relevant procurement business processes by offering information, guidance, and engagement for commercial negotiations.
- Proactively identify problems and solutions to enhance efficiency and achieve team objectives.
- Adhere to and promote all HSE legislation, policies, and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

**More about you**
- 2-3 years' experience in a heavily regulated industry, such as oil/gas or utilities.
- Commercial, sustainability, risk, logistics, procurement, or legal qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in working with reporting systems like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement ERP systems (e.g. SAP/Ariba).
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, reporting, data, and analytics, with regulatory reporting experience highly regarded.
- Intermediate-advanced data modelling skills and extensive experience with large datasets and complex analysis.
- Success in delivering insights through data and analytical solutions and data visualisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders.
