Reporting directly to the GM of Architecture, the Software Delivery Manager will spearhead outcome-focused digital and systems change across the organisation. As the Software Delivery Manager, you will take the lead in delivering all aspects of digital development and technical systems development, aligning with our overarching business objectives.

**What Success Looks Like**:
**_Delivery Leadership:_**
- Provide visionary leadership on the digital delivery model.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in software delivery.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of digital projects and product enhancements.
- Foster and maintain motivated delivery teams, including 3rd party development resources.
- Drive the Digital team to work efficiently towards delivery commitments.

**_Project Management and Coordination:_**
- Plan projects and product enhancements in detail, ensuring integration and identifying dependencies.
- Maintain continuous involvement in planning, forecasting, estimating, and managing uncertainty.
- Communicate plans, progress, and planning assumptions to stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.

**_Resource Management:_**
- Identify cross-functional resources and ensure their understanding of roles and responsibilities.
- Direct and motivate the delivery team, utilising matrix management for effective communication.

**Key Skills for Success**:

- Experience in an equivalent role, focusing on digital service enhancements.
- Proven ability to manage third parties throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
- Proficiency in managing cross-functional delivery teams, including remote/offsite and external resources.
- Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Deep knowledge of agile and lean tools and techniques, with a history of introducing these practices into organizations.
