About the Role:
As the School Community Liaison Officer, you will provide quality advice and assistance to parents, carers and other members of the school community across the region, requiring this role to be the first point of contact for parents, carers and other community members wishing to enquire about departmental policy and guidelines. You will also take an active role in assisting community members to resolve their concerns and complaints by providing a conduit between the parents, carers and other community members and school personnel.
Responsibilities Include:
You will utilise your high level communication skills, using empathy and compassion, to initiate telephone contact with parents, carers and other community members regarding concerns or complaints and refer them back to the school to negotiate and achieve a suitable outcome.
In this position you will be maintaining effective liaison, communication and collaboration processes with state schools, together with major partners and other relevant agencies and stakeholders.
You will be working with a dedicated team of professionals who remain solution focussed to ensure they deliver quality services across the region.
