SYNOPSIS:
Are you passionate about fitness and teaching? The City is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Coach to join our LeisureFit team and help deliver exceptional swimming programs for juniors and adults. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of swimming and help participants achieve their personal bests, as well as preparing participants for competitions.

**Hourly Rate**: $48.98 to $62.68

**Position Type**: Casual

**Location**: LeisureFit Booragoon

**About the Role**

As a key member of our LeisureFit Fitness team, you’ll focus on developing and delivering high-quality swim lessons coaching while ensuring safety, engagement, and fun for participants of all ages. This role also offers opportunities to contribute to the broader Athletics Program through marketing, administration, and program development.

**What You’ll Do**
- Design and deliver engaging swim lessons coaching tailored to juniors and adults.
- Actively promote the safe use of LeisureFit facilities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding swimming and triathlon programs.
- Support program marketing efforts through social media and other channels.
- Ensure safety standards and equipment are maintained.
- Provide first aid and CPR as required.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Working with Children Check
- Coaching qualifications in swimming or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational abilities

**Desirable Extras**
- Austswim qualifications or similar
- Development Coach Accreditation with TriathlonWA
- Experience coaching running, cycling, or swimming programs
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
