Our client in the public sector is seeking a **Training Development Officer** for a contract role based in Southeast Melbourne.

**About the Role**
Are you an experienced training professional with a passion for leading impactful programs? The **Training Development Officer** will design, develop, and implement a comprehensive training program to support a project initiative. This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and ensure that training aligns with the organisation's strategic goals while empowering stakeholders across all departments.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Training Program Development**
- Design and implement a training approach for the program.
- Use the ADDIE model to plan, design, deliver, and review training content.
- Ensure training is engaging, practical, and tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Regularly update training materials to stay aligned with evolving best practices.

**Training Delivery and Facilitation**
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops across various staff levels.
- Utilise different delivery methods: e-learning, classroom & virtual training, and blended learning.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
- Support the change management team to support smooth transitions.

**Key Skills & Experience**
- **Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment** (or similar qualification).
- Experience in** Articulate Storyline, Rise and Camtastia**would be advantageous
- Experience in **learning and development,**especially in system and transformation projects.
- Experience in system **change and transformation** initiatives.
- Experience in **Train the Trainer** delivery, hybrid training models, and effective program evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to explain complex concepts clearly to various audiences.
- Highly engaging facilitation skills for large groups and senior leaders.
