Aquatic Operations Team Leader

Macedon Ranges Shire is located in central Victoria, about one hour drive north-west of Melbourne. It is a semi-rural municipality known for its beautiful natural landscapes, historic towns and architecture, gourmet food and wine, and vibrant community life.
Council is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Aquatic Operations Team Leader to join a dedicated team to effectively and safely manage the operation and development of the Kyneton Sports and Aquatic Centre.
The Kyneton Sports and Aquatic Centre is a community focussed facility hosting a 25m lap pool, Learn to Swim pool and warm water exercise pool, as well as a fitness centre, indoor sports courts and squash courts. The Centre is a community asset which is brought to life by a dedicated and passionate team of full time, part-time and casual staff.
A degree or diploma in recreation management, physical education, human movement or similar, or extensive experience in the development and management of aquatic and leisure facilities as well as a current Victorian driver’s license are required for this role.
