What does the job look like?
- Join Linfox’s Intermodal team based in Willawong as the
- QLD Road Manager

and take charge of all aspects of our Intermodal Road Operations in Queensland. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a dedicated team, championing safety, compliance, and operational excellence. With your strategic mindset and leadership skills, you’ll drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and cost effectiveness, while delivering top-tier service to our customers. Key Areas- Ensure profitability and key performance indicators align with customer contractual requirements and KPIs for each QLD contract
- Foster and expand existing customer relationships to drive increased business opportunities
- Continuously explore operational synergies nationwide to implement cost-saving improvement initiatives benefiting Linfox and customers
- Collaborate with Senior Management to establish operating budgets for QLD operations, guiding operational teams to achieve planned outcomes
- Supervise operational teams to optimize labor and fleet utilization while ensuring compliance with relevant industrial regulations

Are you the one?
- Five years' hands-on expertise in logistics management, with an emphasis on Road Transport Operations
- Proficient understanding of industrial instruments, coupled with adeptness in P&L and budgetary procedures
- Strong communication skills adaptable to various audiences, coupled with influencing skills and a customer-centric approach
- Sound IT proficiency and financial acumen, complemented by a track record in overseeing multi-site operations and engaging multiple stakeholders effectively
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (PPT, Word & Excel)
